2020 really hasn’t got off to the best start.. the biggest UNDERSTATEMENT of the year. Although as much as there has been so much terrible news, there has also been a heck of a lot of good news too! I think it’s important to always see the brighter side of things, let me give you some examples below:
Negative: Has destroyed the lives of many families, put pressure on key workers and has isolated the vulnerable
Positive: Individuals have been able to spend more quality time with people in their household, becoming more humble and appreciating people and activities much ore than they ever have before.
The Death Of George Floyd
Negative: Tragic, barbaric and down right malicious. I honestly cannot believe a human would be able to kill another soul like this, I am so ashamed of some people in this world.
There has been a miraculous (and may I add NEEDED) revolution of millions standing up and speaking out against racism, particularly in the policing sector. The tragic death has effectively brought the masses together, from all over the world.
Where did April and May go??
I cannot believe how quickly time has passed.. surely I’m not the only one who takes this view? To say many of us have been at home every single day, day in day out, I’m shocked at how quickly its all gone. I never thought I’d be saying this so soon, but today I am about to meet 6 of my friends, at a 2-metre distance. I am so excited to see them. But here we are, already on the 1st of June! I have tried to ensure I am keeping myself busy this week, meeting friends in small groups and going on lots of walks. Cycling every morning is still incorporated into the routine, and I will be looking forward to going back to work… if I do!
What have you got planned for the month?
For those of you that know me, will know it is a very special time for me this June. Thats right, it’s my birthday!! I am so looking forward to it now, especially seem as I can see more than one person on the day. I love birthdays so much. I have many other events planned, and have already written numerous blog posts that I think may keep you entertained. I’m afraid though, there’s no spoilers as of yet… watch this space!

I haven’t devoted much attention to this category on my website for a while, I think it’s because I’ve been so busy.
